Free-Bagging ....

Well, when my humans brought some farm fresh produce home, I couldn't drag myself away from the bag!
I just love the smell of fresh veggies!
(There was Spinach, Broccoli, Rhubarb, Coriander, Parsley, Lemons AND fresh Eggs!)

I refused to get out, so I was taken on a trip.
Woo Hoo!

Security Patrol - Lift Door Position ....

After my cat flap, the second most vulnerable access point to the apartment is the lift.
So I spend a fair bit of my day guarding that door too.
No one could get past me without tripping over.
I have sometimes been tempted to 'go for a ride' by myself.
But haven't done it yet.
One day, when it happens, I think my humans will completely freak out.

Security Patrol - The Cat Flap ....

Sometimes I just like to look out of my cat flap from inside.
When my humans moved into this place, they had one cut into the glass sliding door for me.
I sit here for hours when on my security patrol.
I can be alert when I feel like it.

A Day to Remember ....

My humans had a great day today.
It started here, at Linen House in Seaford, home of St Kilda Football Club.
Approx 9.30am.

They had a tour of the place.

The gym.

An awesome painting of past legends in the meeting room.

A corridor full of some massive photos of past legends, player & life members lists.

The locker room, (this shows current players 'Joey' Leigh Montagna & current captain 'Roo' Nick Reiwoldt's lockers)

1966 Premiership Player Jeff Moran standing in front of his locker (#15) BTW, he was really interested to see it!)
Apparently the locker room is hard to access, even one of the hosts had never been in there before!

Some pre match info - my humans weren't allowed to take photos of the nitty gritty, but this was OK.
(I just wish I knew what 'SSG' means.  My humans failed to ask).

Linen House Oval.
Note the 3 boundary lines.
The colours match: Green 400m running track, White Etihad stadium, Red the MCG.

The 1966 Premiership Cup had pride of place at breakfast, (which was taken on the board room table).

Humans (not mine), on the bus on the way to the match.

The Robert Harvey Room at Etihad stadium.

A List of all members names on a big Black, Red & White 'Thankyou' sign at the stadium.
(The players guernseys were also done this way for the match)

Luncheon Festivities.
The two humans in the foreground, (not mine), had their jackets specially made on a trip to Bali.

My humans got to go out on the field to be part of the guard of honour when the players ran out!
Very Cool!!!

The game.

Post match.
Players are warming down.  They were not accessible, just visible.

Nicky Dal's back!!

I can only say I am exhausted after this post, as I imagine you are after viewing it.
A great day.  Lots of fun had by all.
AND St Kilda had a massive win!!
WOO HOO!!

AFL Round 22 ....

Well, I'm sleeping with my flag, garnering energy for tomorrow's game.
We'll be playing Greater Western Sydney Giants at home.
My humans will be at the match, having a very special day.
Hopefully they will be able to get some photos.
I'll just have to wait and see.

Human Foot Pillow ....

A human foot can be quite comfortable when used as a pillow.
Here's evidence.
Even the toes smelled sweet.
(My other human disputes this, but it's true).

The Prize ....

OK - this is what my humans won:
(They are very excited!!)
On Round 22, GWS v Saints-:
*  A Tour of The Linen House Centre
(Hosted by Jeff Moran, 1966 Premiership Player).
*  Includes gourmet breakfast.
*  Bus transfer to the game
*  Entry into the Robert Harvey Room, including Level 2 reserved seat, carvery meal, half time snacks and a drink on arrival.
*  Post game Change Room access

I'm being stoic, I won't be going.
Never mind.  No doubt I'll hear all about it later.
