My Scratching Pole ....

This is my scratching pole.
When I have the urge, I scratch it.
It was newly upholstered for me for Christmas last year.
I love it very much.

Half out, Half in ....

Sometimes I can't decide if I want to be in or out.
So I place myself in the middle of the doorway.
Just catching some rays - I love a bit of sunshine too.
Also basking in the Saints win over Melbourne last night.
It was an exhausting, old-school style match.
And the next few weeks are going to be tough.

AFL Round 5 ....

If the cap fits .... (or even if it doesn't quite fit)....
Wear it!!
I'm hoping for a win tonight against Melbourne.
GO SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!

Upon Reflection ....

It's been a busy week.
I'm reflecting on everything that happened, and everything I'm gonna do over the weekend.
Done.
Now I have to figure out how to get back inside the house.
I prefer door service to using the cat flap.
I'm waiting ......

The Cone ....

I'm not too sure about wearing the cone.
I've been in a bit of a licking frenzy lately and the cone is meant to stop me.
However, I don't like it, and will do what I can to avoid wearing it again.

I am Not Moving ....

I don't care that one of my humans has to get around on crutches.
As far as I am concerned, they can figure out how to use them properly.
I am not scared of them, and I am not getting out of the way.
Tough titties.

Close Up ....

This is the face of a disappointed Saints supporter.
We still can't kick straight.
This close up shows the intense thinking I'm putting in to a proposal to improve our game plan.
(Which I plan to forward to coach Scott Watters during the week).
No doubt he will be delighted.

Friday 20 April 2012

AFL Round 4 ....

I love my Sainter's flag.
It's quite frayed around the edges, but I'm not getting a new one until we win a premiership.
Some would laugh snidely and say it's never going to happen,
that it will be worn to a thread by then.
BUT I have high hopes for the Saints against Fremantle at home tonight.
I wonder what sort of reception Ross Lyon will get?
(Our coach quit and joined Freo late last year).
I guess we'll all find out in a few hours.
GOOO SAINTS!!!!

Wednesday 18 April 2012

False Alarm ....

The other day we had to evacuate the building when the fire-alarm went off.
We had to leave all my friends upstairs.
Luckily it was a false alarm. (Phew).

I hadn't been downstairs for ages. It was nice and sunny.
For a human, I think being a fire-person is a very honourable profession.

Tuesday 17 April 2012

Sprung ....

Oh O, I've been sprung 'fertilising' the strawberries.
I may be in a spot of trouble.

Monday 16 April 2012

Celebrating a Win ....

St Kilda did such a good job winning on the weekend I thought a celebratory G & T was in order.

Bottoms up!

On second thoughts, I'll have it later.
It is only the third week of the season after all.

Saturday 14 April 2012

AFL Round 3 ....

Well the team did well last week, (almost 100 point victory against Gold Coast - woo hoo!)
This week will be much tougher against the doggies.
I've got my cap ready.
GO SAINTS!!!!!

Friday 13 April 2012

New Boot ....

There's a new boot in the house.
I'm not sure what I think about it yet.

Wednesday 11 April 2012

TV Marathon ....

I've been spending a fair bit of time on the couch watching TV this week.
As you can see, I'm getting a bit 'glassy eyed'.
But I just can't seem to drag myself away.
For some reason I have come to really care about what happens between Senior & Junior.
I really hope they can sort things out.

Tuesday 10 April 2012

Taste Test ....

Lately, I have been extremely picky regarding what type of food I feel like eating.
I have refused to eat lots of stuff.
All in this photo have been rejected (bar a few bites).

To make it worse, I'm supposed to be eating 'kd' products, (for my kidneys), however they seem to be the least tasty of all.
Luckily one of my humans made some chilli the other day.
I also discovered I quite like brussels sprouts, (raw).
mmmmmm yummy.

Sunday 8 April 2012

AFL Round 2 ....

OK, I've got my flag & cap out.  Just waiting for kick off.
After losing a nail-biter by 4 points to Port Power last week I am thinking the Saints can pull it off this week against the Gold Coast.  At least it's a home game.
We should win this one, but you can't take these things for granted.
GO SAINTS!!!!!!!

Saturday 7 April 2012

Happy Birthday to Me ....

I had a birthday party today.
Most of my friends came.

I'm looking a little bit grumpy because Ernie gatecrashed.

That's better.
(Three is sometimes a crowd).

Friday 6 April 2012

Visiting Lady-Bug ....

This picture shows a rather fuzzy visiting ladybug in what appears to be a quite precarious position.
I was quite interested in chatting but she wasn't keen to hang around.
Must have had better things to do.

Thursday 5 April 2012

Sebastian & I ....

I've been spending a bit of time with my friend Sebastian lately.
I find him very diplomatic and easy to get along with.
(He usually agrees with me on most things).

Wednesday 4 April 2012

Crazy Human ....

Look what one of my humans did last night.
Yes, the bottom part of this human's leg is covered in a temporary plaster cast.
Because of this I now have delegated duties.
Here I am doing the most important one of cast inspector.

Brings back memories of this same human in a similar position last year:

I did a good job then too.
Obviously there is something wrong with this human for this to keep happening.

Monday 2 April 2012

Unpacking the Shopping ....

I like to help unpack the shopping.
(And also to check for any special treats).
You never know - there may be something left in the bottom of the bag.

Sunday 1 April 2012

AFL Outfit, Round 1 ....

Each week before my team's (AFL) game, I get ready.
I'm a mad keen St Kilda supporter, and this week we are playing Port Power in Adelaide.
So even if I can't be at the match, I've got my scarf on.
Paws crossed, we will do well in the first round of the season.
I am having a zen-like approach this week.
