Bathroom Renovations ....

In an effort to save the strawberries, I now have an outside bathroom.

Fully air-conditioned, and mostly private.

After initially turning into a quagmire in the rain, it is now roofed.

Dry in winter, shady in summer.

What more could your average cat want?

(I realise I'm not just your average cat - it really is pretty spesh.)

Looking pretty good with my winter coat growing in a treat.

Even with my tongue sticking out I feel quite debonair ;)

AFL Round 9 ....

It's St Kilda v Sydney Swans tonight.

Saints v Bloods.

Ooeer.

We need to win to get into the top 8.

If we stick to our game plan I think we have an opportunity tonight.

In Control ....

I have the remote controls completely under control.

Recently I have become addicted to 'Pawn Stars'.

And I find 'Storage Wars' very educational.

However I'm getting out all the bells & whistles for the brilliant

'Eurovision Song Contest' - (Semi-finals tonight).

I am looking forward to the game this afternoon.

The Saints are playing West Coast out West.

I am hoping for a win.  

The cap says 'Be The Future'.

I am looking into the future and seeing a very tough game.

Recycling ....

This is my friend, Foxy Lady.

When my whiskers occasionally fall out, they are recycled for her use.

Mine are the white ones.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - I feel I am playing my part in reducing landfill.  

Ankle Flex Demonstration ....

One of my humans fractured an ankle about six weeks ago.

Today the physio gave her some exercises to do to start getting it moving again.

Here I am demonstrating the ankle flex and towel gather at the same time!

(Yes, one involves having your foot flat on the floor, and scrunching the towel up under your toes).

Amazing.

I can do it with my eyes shut.

Luckily I'm all rugged up for the game.

Its rainy and coooold in Melbourne tonight!

We have a good record against Carlton, so I'm hoping for a win.

This is my Kinky Friedman doll.

He says all kinds of non politically correct, funny things, holds a cigar & his hat comes off too!

What more could you want with a Kinky doll than that.

They are super hot, a Thai variety.

Hanging Out the Washing ....

Well, it was another day of housework for me today.

I'm not that good with pegs, but do what I can to help.

In this case I found it best to get in amongst it.

Literally.

I think my efforts to help were appreciated.

And was pretty cosy in the washing basket I must say.

Grooming # 1 ....

I had a visitor on Friday night, and it was great to see J, (as always).

As previously mentioned, I have been over-grooming myself lately. 

So this was a great opportunity to give myself a break, and I concentrated on J instead.

By the time J went home, she was very neat and tidy indeed :)

AFL Round 6 ....

It's a little rainy and cold in Melbourne today.

I'm gonna need my scarf for the match against the Hawks tonight.

The Saints are not favourites to win the match, but I am confident the boys will do well, and hopefully have a win and upset the tipsters.

Especially since coach Scott Watters appears to have listened to my game plan improvement suggestions.

The Arm-Cross:  

This is a self-comforting posture used mostly unconsciously to alleviate nervous tension.  

The arm-cross is not recommended during a job interview.

The Wink:

A single wink is usually a friendly gesture implying a degree of solidarity and/or intimacy.

Also not recommended during a job interview.

Luckily I'm a self-employed house-sitter.

My Giant Cat-Flap ....

I view the lounge room window as one big cat flap.

On a nice day, this is the only way to enter or exit the flat.

I can spy on any feathered visitors extremely well from here too.
